Unfortunately there is little science on specific VOC toxicology amongst non-human animals. DWS has not offered guidance because of this information gap. Our team’s recommendations on these types of questions is to take a balanced approach to minimize risks from possible water contamination while also considering the sensibility of minimizing other risks or negative consequences from interventions. Therefore, we recommend giving pets bottled water if possible. Decisions about what to do with livestock may be more case by case.
